During your FREE no obligation consultation we will endeavour to make a comprehensive appraisal of the area to be tiled. We will gather information along with your project ideas, we'll ensure the smallest of detail is captured in order to write up accurate estimates for you.

In addition to dimensions, drawings and photographs being recorded, we will do our best to gain a deep understanding of the floor or wall area that is to be tiled.

In circumstances where demo of the existing surfaces have not yet been undertaken then it is not always possible to determine the exact condition of the wall or floor area beneath existing surfaces during the consultation.

Please note that in this instance, under certain circumstances outside of our control we could possibly require additional materials and labour for which we may seek your agreement at that point to accept additional costs to cover our work.

A floor screed is undertaken to bring the floor up to the desired height and to create a flat, smooth surface for tiles to be laid.

This task is also used to create falls in floors such as showers, bathrooms and laundry’s.

Falls are essential for allowing water to run off towards floor drain.

We are able to be more adept in managing the nuances of screeding due to our prior planning, mix ratio and by adhering to laying screed with the appropriate thickness and consistency.
